Kayaking & SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board)

The calm waters that surround Isla Chiquita extend an exciting invitation to reach new horizons. Our Adventure Center specializes in Kayaking and SUP as a conduits to the Gulf of Nicoya’s unique magic. Refreshed by endless sea breeze, we will explore the tiny islands and rock formations that jut out of an emerald-green canvass. Pelicans and frigate birds will be our escorts as we enjoy Costa Rica’s wonders from a different perspective.

Costa Rica Kayaking & SUP Lessons

An expert guide will lead an immersive session to teach the basics of kayaking and stand-up-paddling. Lessons will focus on rowing technique, reading wind conditions and water currents, the correct use of safety equipment, and proper warm-up exercises. Ideal for learning or honing your skills!

Kayaking Expeditions

These guided expeditions offer unique opportunities to enjoy full contact with the sea and the landscapes it frames. Different routes present diverse challenges suited for both beginners and experts. With each expedition, we will write our own adventure, discovering nooks, mangroves, and small islands covered with dense tropical forest emblazoned in browns during the summer and greens during the rainy season.  

Your guide will complement the session with insights about the local culture and the region’s fascinating terrestrial fauna and thriving marine life. Enjoy Costa Rica from a new perspective!
